Tessa Goodwin
Tessa Goodwin has lived all over BC’s West Coast – from Courtenay to Nanaimo to Vancouver. Tessa finally landed in Victoria, BC where she is currently completing her Bachelor of Marketing Communications Management at Camosun College.
Tessa looks to business as a way for her to integrate her passion for sustainability and the triple bottom line: people, planet, profit. Tessa has shown her determination to engage youth and business alike in sustainability with her current position as campus organizer for goBEYOND, a BC wide campus climate initiative that works to connect youth and bring sustainability to campuses. Additionally, Tessa currently sits as a member of Camosun College’s Sustainability Council, an open-forum for faculty, staff, and students to discuss college-wide sustainability practices.
Previously, Tessa worked with Green IT Tools.com and Terrabytes Consulting assisting with communications, online marketing, and research. Tessa has also worked with Camosun College in the Co-operative Education department. Tessa’s hard work and determination to succeed has landed her placement on the Camosun College School of Business Dean’s Honour List for all full-time semesters of enrolment. As well, Tessa was awarded the 2009 Victoria Real Estate Board Award for high academic achievement and commitment.
When not focusing on her studies, Tessa has been fortunate enough to travel abroad to locations such as India, China, Eastern Europe, and Mexico. Tessa enjoys exploring the outdoors and taking advantage of the local destinations on Vancouver Island. Along with enjoying all that is offered outdoors, Tessa can often be found getting lost in a book or a favourite movie
