Hi my name is Tessa Kimber I will be a senior at Royse City High School class of 2023 as of right now I am a cashier and sales associate at Cavender‘s boot city in Greenville I have been there for about 6 1/2 months I have very good organizing skills and I keep on task and focused majority of the time. I am a fast learner and can take in a lot of information at a time and understand what my job is and how to do it.

Education is

To me, the role of education in a person's life is very impactful for some but for others, not so much do kids are influenced by their parent's beliefs and some kids like to follow in their parents' footsteps and pursue what they did. Education has played a huge role in my life it has prepared me for due dates and work staying on the task being able to communicate with others if something is wrong or something is late. Education has really disciplined me into understanding how the real world works meaning nothing waits for you you have to do your stuff on time and as best as you can. when you get hired for a position your employer is gonna expect you to understand that they have other things to do and they’re giving you that specific task because they need it done by a certain time a certain date and don’t expect anything less you can’t negotiate your way out of your job. on the communicating aspect if there is a problem with one of the tasks your employer gives them then you should be able to let them know ahead of time give them your exact reason for why and be able to understand and take those what they have to say back so if they’re telling you that’s unacceptable you need to be able to accept that and improve on what you’re doing. Also communicating with coworkers no matter if they’re in the same position as you a higher position or a lower position you should be able to communicate with them the same way you should with your boss calmly and respectfully.

Learning goals

• I plan on working my way up in my company right now or in another one if that’s the way my life goes
• I would like to learn better customer service skills and salesman skills because I feel like everyone can improve a little bit

• I have received a floral certification in my junior high school class
• I have earned my CPR certification in my sophomore high school class
• One of my biggest accomplishments is working hard in my school year and keeping my grades all A’s and bumping up my GPA
