Tessa Zeman

Hello! My name is Tessa Zeman and I am a senior at the University of Southern California majoring in Communication and minoring in Digital Studies. My hobbies include boxing, hanging out with my two goldendoodles (Maggie and Buttons), making cool things with the Adobe Suite, and jumping off/out of high places (while attached to a harness or parachute, of course).

I studied abroad in Sydney, Australia in 2016 and while I was there, discovered how much I love travel and adventure. I found that skydiving and bungee jumping are two of my favorite activities and now I’m always on the hunt for my next big adventure. These hobbies translate into my professional life as well, as I always aim to take chances, think outside the box and generally go where the road takes me. I never shy away from adventure, and I would love to jump into the Apprenticeship Program and learn from experts in the industry.

According to the Gallup Clifton Strengths report, my top five personality characteristics are adaptability, empathy, harmony, intellection and individualization. This mix comes together to make me a person who loves to listen, learn and collaborate with others while also offering my own informed point of view. Friends, family and people I work with know me as someone they can count on which is something I am very proud of.

For me, no task is too small. Throughout my professional career, I have worked to develop major projects such as proposals, marketing campaigns and business plans. While I enjoyed working on these high-level projects, I have also learned just as much from administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings and travel, researching or organizing files.

I have always loved entertainment and it has long been a dream of mine to work in the industry. Television and film have the power to shape attitudes and perceptions. I would be honored to contribute to a field that has so much influence on our society. It would be the ultimate thrill to dive into the Fox Apprenticeship program as my next big adventure.
