Tewodros Heylemelecot is a Structural Engineer, Lecturer, and timber engineering specialist with expertise in sustainable structural systems, mass timber design, and engineering software development. He currently serves as a Timber Design Specialist and Senior Structural Design Engineer at CLT Toolbox, where he develops advanced structural design solutions and calculators for international timber engineering applications.

His work focuses on Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT), Glued Laminated Timber (GLT), and hybrid timber-steel-concrete structures, with extensive experience in timber connection design and performance-based structural engineering. He has developed advanced calculators for large dowel and bolt connections, CLT diaphrms, and timber connection systems based on Australian, New Zealand, Eurocode, United States, and Canadian timber design standards, helping engineers improve design accuracy and efficiency worldwide. He also collaborates closely with software developers and international industry experts to transform complex engineering principles into practical digital design tools.
