Tyler David Fisk
Tyler Fisk is a current student at Aurora University working towards a BS in Business Administration and Marketing. He recently just finished his AS at Canterbury Christ Church University in Canterbury Kent through Waubonsee Community College.
Throughout Tyler's life, he has been actively involved in the community as well as kept a rigorous schedule while attending school. Tyler's current involvement includes helping out as a leader at a church group for 5th and 6th graders as well as Special Olympics and Ortho Kids at the local Cadence Wellness Center. Aside from volunteer work, Tyler is also involved with Phi Theta Kappa and National Technical Honor Society.
In High School, Tyler was still involved in the same volunteer activities as he is today. He also was a part of the Geneva High School Football team as well as the Wrestling team, Track and Field team and Ultimate Frisbee team while upholding a full class schedule including High School Band. Tyler was also given the opportunity to be the leader of a Marketing team of four people for his marketing class where they created and promoted an activity to turn $20 into as much revenue as possible. In Band, Tyler was given the Leadership award for demonstrating outstanding leadership and knowledge as well as projecting that knowledge to aid classmates in becoming a better musician. During his senior year he was awarded the Mathew Kenny Scholarship for staying in sports at least three years while showing leadership. In High School, Tyler also participated in two two-week mission trips to Ecuador to aid in making the lives of the younger generations of the area more enjoyable.
During Tyler's free time, he is actively involved in music. Every chance he gets Tyler is writing, composing, transposing, producing, playing, mixing/mastering, and DJing music for fun as well as for his friends. Music has been Tyler’s life and that does not seem to change any time soon. Starting out playing piano at age 4, then moving onto guitar at 7, bass at 9, alto saxophone at 10, DJing and mixing/mastering music at 12, and producing at 14. Tyler has also held an Internship with a recording studio and wedding entertainment business named Backthird Audio located in Aurora, Illinois. Aside from his heavy involvement in music, Tyler also loves to take photography of scenery as well as taking photos for other people where he sometimes enhances the photo on Adobe Photoshop.
