Thomas Hall

Therapist in Melbourne, Australia

I have worked in a great variety of health and welfare settings in Melbourne and overseas in the UK. I began voluntary work while in Uni at Canberra supporting children with disabilities learning to swim. I now work as an educator in mental health and a better access practitioner with people at risk of rough sleeping. Study and theory have always gone side by side with engaging and working with people. My vocation and working life has been directed to support people understand themselves, their lives and achievements, and understand the way they learn and act to be in the world and the community. I have learnt as a person from my family, friends and from where I have placed myself and my choices and errors. For all of us as people the journey seems long, a variety of things happen to us. At the end of the day, in this short life we enjoy and at times suffer, the task is always to make the best of what we have with who we are.
