Thamsanqa Dlamini
Teacher, Web Developer, and Designer in Johannesburg
Hi, I’m Thamsanqa Dlamini. I am a third-year Bachelor of Education student at the University of Johannesburg, specializing in Business Management and Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Driven by a passion for modernizing the educational landscape, I am preparing to empower the next generation of learners by bridging the gap between business principles, digital literacy, and classroom engagement.
I believe that education should be dynamic, practical, and inclusive. In an increasingly digital world, my goal as an educator is to create a learner-centered environment where technology isn't just an add-on, but a powerful tool that enhances critical thinking and real-world problem-solving.
By integrating ICT into Business Management, I aim to equip students with not only theoretical knowledge, but also the digital skills and strategic mindset needed to navigate modern economic spaces. I strive to foster an interactive space where every student feels supported, inspired to ask questions, and confident in taking ownership of their learning journey.
Outside of academics and lesson planning, I maintain an active and balanced lifestyle:
- 🏃 Fitness & Running: I enjoy tracking my progress on the road, continually setting new targets and pushing my endurance boundaries.
- 🏉 ⚽ Sports: A passionate sports enthusiast, I closely follow domestic and international rugby (cheering on the Stormers and Springboks) as well as European football (supporting Chelsea FC and FC Barcelona).
- 🎧 Tech & Music: I’m always exploring new productivity tech, digital tools, and the latest rollouts and production nuances in hip-hop music.
