Thapelo Manamela

Hi! My name is Manamela Thapelo, and I am a Bachelor of Education student at the University of Johannesburg. Currently living in Brixton, Johannesburg, I am dedicated to growing both academically and personally as I work toward becoming a qualified educator.

My passion for education is from the inspiration I got from my high school teacher who made learning meaningful and i really aspire to be like that. I believe learning should be an engaging, inclusive, and empowering experience. Through my studies at UJ, I am building the skills needed to create my way of teaching in classrooms where every student feels supported to reach their potential.

Beyond my academic life, I draw a lot of inspiration from creative arts like music and film. Listening to diverse sounds and watching great movies helps me relax, sparks new ideas, and keeps me connected to different perspectives and storytelling styles.

I also value personal expression and maintaining a balanced lifestyle through fashion and fitness. For me, fitness builds discipline and energy, while fashion offers a fun way to express confidence and individuality every day.
