Becca Jade

Hey, I’m Becca or also known as @thatgirl__designs on instagram. I have a diploma & advanced diploma in Graphic Design and I’m currently studying Visual Communication Design to gain my bachelor degree as well as being a freelancing artist.

I love to illustrate, mainly working on stippled tattoo-esk style drawings and that's where my creative journey began. From that I have now progressed in my career and in my skill set I have become proficient in the adobe suite creating digital, print and branding elements. In my spare time I love making cool patterns, funky characters and working on layouts.

At the moment I’ve been trying to build up my portfolio which includes my digital presence, mainly focusing on instagram as my platform.

I previously worked with a group of creatives where I had many gallery exhibitions, had some work published in magazines and also did some awesome mural work for businesses around Geelong. This helped me to embrace collaboration and bounce ideas off other people in the industry and learn some interesting stuff.

Downtime (that’s not design related) includes reading exciting novels, anything nature related, spending time with family/friends and my partner. I also have a grumpy cat named Boo whom I love dearly.
