I am a writer, a lover not a fighter & a strong female who believes in helping others & standing up for what is right. I believe that we were not put on this earth to judge others, but to be kind to all!

My most beloved author, Dr. Leo Buscaglia said, "Our inability to live in harmony with others is responsible for our greatest fears, anxieties, feelings of isolation & even severe mental illness... we all need each other."

If we cannot agree with or accept another's beliefs, can we at least not hurt them?

I am a Humanitarian, active in helping the less fortunate, abused & neglected animals. We MUST love ALL people & all creatures.

I am an animal rescue advocate, encouraging & promoting the adoption of rescued pets - sharing information on sites & organizations such as Rescueme.org, PetPardon, & the BeagleFreedom Project. I am AGAINST BSL! Breed Specific Legislation. NO DOG should be "outlawed" based on its specific breed! I suppose it is easier to profile and prohibit all dogs rather than to find &punish the offenders, which results in good dogs being removed from loving homes, causing responsible owners to hide their GOOD dogs, for fear of losing them,as many have had to give them up unfairly. BSL further exacerbates the plight of the so-called "dangerous" breeds, more dogs in over crowded shelters, resulting in more being put down. This is unacceptable.

On a personal note, I am adventurous, independent & impulsive. I have an eclectic taste in music, a love for photography, poetry, art, & a passion for impulsive road trips to the coast to capture the nuances of the perfect sunset (like my profile background). Another interest is cars/car shows and classic car restoration.

Having an off the wall sense of humor, I laugh (sometimes inappropriately) at life, but believe that LAUGHTER truly is the BEST Medicine. If I can make someone laugh or smile, even if I look silly, it is worth bringing some joy and fun into their life!

I write poetry, published on two sites. Most of my poetry is about romantic love.

I am the creator of "ROMANTIC~GRAMS" Beautiful customized romantic all occasion telegrams - designed and delivered.

I write a column for the Examiner, an online publication on Dating and Relationships.

My best friend is my precious Standard Poodle & Guardian Angel named Charlie!
