My name as you can probably gather is William and I'm a Retro gamer, yes that's correct a Retro Gamer. Now I'll be brief on this ( because let's face it I could talk about retro gaming for ' hoors ' ) my first foray into the console world was the Commodore Vic-20,I never thought much of it at the time, being but a Bairn I never really appricated it then as I did now...but I did start appreciating consoles that teeny tad bit more, when, one Christmas I got this little Gift from Santa called Master system with Aled the Kidd built in,by Sega none the less.I was hooked.I played Alex the kid till the death before moving onto such games as Transbot,The Ninja,And others to boot.I guess it wouldn't take long before Sega would dream up the next Console as going toe to toe with Giant's Nintendo wasn't easy but did Sega deliver ? they did indeed with a console that In my honest opinion was the greates ever Invented..The Mega drive...Who can forget Streets of rage ? who can forget Golden axe ? who can forget Road Rash, and who really can forget Sonic,Ghouls and Ghosts,Robocop vs Terminator,Splatterhouse and countless other's I mean this was Gaming not like today's Gaming that is far more timid backed up with you tube and 'how to play guides ' this was raw Gaming no save option,Three lives, and a Boss who knows no Mercy.Suffice to say I've learned much from then and that's back to Gaming as I know it and thanks to SEGA RetroGamers group I've came across games I never knew existed.I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks.
