I’m a DevOps Engineer and Site Reliability Engineer based in Lahore, Pakistan, with hands-on experience designing, automating, deploying, and operating scalable cloud infrastructure and production environments.
I specialize in Cloud Engineering, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, GitOps, observability, system reliability, and production operations. My focus is on building secure, highly available, fault-tolerant, and cost-efficient infrastructure that enables engineering teams to deploy applications reliably and at scale.
I have practical experience working with AWS and cloud-native technologies, including Amazon EKS, ECS, EC2, RDS, Aurora, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Route 53, ALB/ELB, Auto Scaling, Secrets Manager, SNS, SQS, API Gateway, Glue, Athena, EMR, and other AWS services.
My Kubernetes experience includes deploying and managing containerized workloads, configuring Helm-based deployments, implementing Ingress and TLS, managing RBAC and namespaces, troubleshooting production workloads, and implementing GitOps-based continuous delivery with Argo CD.
I build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, and related automation tools. I have experience separating CI and CD workflows, building immutable Docker images, managing artifacts, implementing automated deployments, and supporting Blue-Green, Rolling, and GitOps-based deployment strategies.
For Infrastructure as Code and configuration management, I work with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Bash, Python scripting, and cloud CLI tools to automate infrastructure provisioning and reduce manual operational work.
I also work extensively with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms including Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK Stack, CloudWatch, Splunk, Jaeger, and Kiali. My production responsibilities include monitoring application health, troubleshooting incidents, identifying infrastructure bottlenecks, improving alerting, and maintaining system reliability.
My experience also includes database and data-platform operations involving Amazon RDS, Aurora, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, AWS DMS, and database migration and cutover activities.
Beyond traditional DevOps responsibilities, I have worked with AWS data and event-driven services including Glue, Athena, Kinesis, EMR, Lambda, Step Functions, S3-based data architectures, SNS, and SQS.
