Thea Rae

Inspired by the raw, industrial feel of tech boom architecture, my pieces are created to populate the habitat of minimalism and exposed materials of those spaces. They mimic life with the inorganic byproducts of our lives: tubes, containers and innards of packages that we use daily without conscious thought, items whose ancillary nature render them almost invisible to us. The work gives new life to these objects, recasting them in an illuminated context removed from their industrial origins.
