The Beatroute

First things first, it’s not the vegetable. After pondering over some of the most idiosyncratic names ever known to mankind, the band settled on one of them anyway. That said, The Beatroute is a result of some clever thinking and quirky wordplay. The plan was never to be too profound with the name, but these things happen.

Formed in January 2011, The Beatroute is a five member groove rock band based in Mumbai with all its members spread across the gigantic city.

With its larger than life sounding traits and interesting melodies, The Beatroute has earned the following credits

• We were awarded as the Best Upcoming Artiste 2012 by Raghu Dixit Project at W.O.R.M.E Fest Delhi
• We stood 2nd in Asia's biggest rock competition hosted at IIT Powai during their Fest Mood Indigo - Livewire 2013
• We shared the same stage with one of the biggest prog-rock names in the world at IIT Mumbai during Livewires 2013 - Neal Morse feat Mike Portnoy
