Our relationship started in late 1996, in fortuitous circumstances; Dave's sister's friend couldn't make it to their cousin's birthday party, so Claire was asked along instead - the rest, as they say, is history ...
We were engaged at the stroke of New Year 2001, and married at Medway Register Office on 22nd December 2001.
We lived in Chatham from 2001 to 2006, when we moved to
Barrow-in-Furness.
We have two children - Henry (still-born in 2008) and Evie-Grace
(born in 2009) - and have had five fur-children - Jack (2006-2008), Poppy (2008-2014), Daisy (2008-date), Moses (2012-date) and George (2014-date).
We are a Christian family, and attend church each Sunday.
