Hi, I’m Courtney. I'm a passionate and driven individual, and I want to help you effectively and efficiently achieve your goals! I am young and vibrant student affairs professional with a passion for cultivating students and their talents through mentorship and empowering them with leadership skills. I received a M.Ed. in Community Development and Action with an emphasis on service-learning and leadership development from Vanderbilt's Peabody College of Education and Human Development.

My research interests include: exploring the intersection of higher education and community development. I am also interested in exploring the factors which influence persistence for young professionals of color. I'm also intrigued to discover the impact of positive psychology on leadership development. Finally, I am passionate about studying factors which affect persistence and retention of black males in college, particularly at PWIs as well as the impact of leadership development programs on black male leaders.
