Hi, I'm Erica. Here's my story.

It all started at good old Fitchburg State College. I went to FSC to major in special education. In between studying & sports I met this guy named Devan my junior year. Well, he will tell you we actually met before that, but I don't remember. We would hang out here and there ... It wasn't until after I graduated that I stopped fooling myself. He wasn't "just a friend" I was head over heels, obssessed, cheesy in LOVE with him... but of course I couldn't admit this. So we continued to hang out.. spent a summer together almost every day, laughing, walking around the city, watching way to many episodes of House, and just enjoying a good time. Well the time came that Devan got a new job and moved to California. I was mixed with emotions.. excited for him but sad he was leaving and I didn't know if he even knew I loved him. Luckily, he knew. And he felt the same way. I moved to California and found a teaching job there. California had its ups and downs. So many things happened in these 3 years! In short... we got engaged, my father passed away, I had about 3 new jobs, adopted a puppy, & we got MARRIED. About a year later, Devan's job took us back home. I couldn't contain my excitement!! I returned to my old teaching job and made plans every day with friends and family. Devan and I had a blast living back in the city where our relationship started. We bought our first home in the place we least expected, but lucky for Devan only 5 min from work. And a year later we welcomed our precious Finnegan into the world. I could go on & on about him, he is perfect. I never imagined how much you could love one person you just met. So from here I want to share this parenthood journey with you. I know its not easy, but I hope you will learn along with me!
