Like a noted Conservative magazine editor, Independent Conservative talk show host-columnist-blogger Dave Levine is the son of liberal parents, one of whom was a scholar and noted professor. Levine was a Democrat for 25 years before becoming a Republican in 1992. In 1996, after four years watching the GOP refusing to back the enforcement our country’s Immigration laws due to their ties to the Chamber of Commerce and BigAg, Levine became an Independent Conservative and is still an Independent Conservative.
His broadcasting experience began in December 2008 when he began the Show at a now-defunct station in eastern Texas.
He soon moved the Show to a BlogTalkRadio station and then a second BTR station. The Dave Levine Show then moved to a small, family-run station in Idaho.
After a year, Levine moved the Show back to BTR.
The Dave Levine Show moved to AM radio for the first time on December 10, 2013 at KCAA 1050 (Loma Linda, CA).
On March 2, 2015, the Show moved to the 1,000-watt KMET 1490 (Redlands, CA). The Dave Levine Show was heard during the afternoon drive-time from 3 to 4 PM Pacific.
On September 1, 2015, Levine took an 8-month haitus from the Show.
On April 23, 2016, Levine returned to KMET with a weekly show on Saturdays at 2 PM Pacific. The Show then moved to Tuesday mornings at 10 AM Pacific (sandwiched in between Clark Howard and Dave Ramsey's shows). However, he began a new venture with KMET 1490 AM--recording 1.5-minute political commentaries that are played three times a day, M-F on the station.
The Show's blog is Dave Levine Online at http://davelevineonline.com.
Levine is also a small business owner, a former voice coach and a long-time performing artist. He resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Levine is the proud owner of The Patriot Kitty, an 11-year-old Turkish Angora that was a show cat. Levine is a strong advocate for the increase in criminal penalties for animal abuse.
