Joe Becker

Joe was born in Detroit and worked in photography, writing, graphic design, printing and publishing. He got into video and started shooting music videos, in studio and on location. He's covered 100s of concerts with stills and video. He got a few gigs as a camera operator on local cable TV shows, and from there, got involved in the local independent TV and film industry.

He started working on a Sci-Fi web series, and from there started working on local films.

In 2009 he moved to Phoenix and, almost immediately, connected with the local indie TV and film industry. He quickly moved his way up the ranks working as a PA, boom op, driver, editor, best boy electric, crafty, graphic designer, still photographer, cinematographer, and more.

When asked how to succeed in the business he said, "I've learned to work in many different positions, with budgets and without. The thing is to bring the same level of professionalism to every set. Do your job, do it well, without complaining. Don't ever argue. Do everything with a smile."
