Aliyah Michelle

Growing up in southwest philly Aliyah began writing poetry at the age of 10. Shortly after Aliyah combined both her passions for music and poetry and began writing song lyrics. Although she never went further in her venture with music she never stopped writing. She is now 24 years old and a mother of a one year old son (Amari). Her journey to be heard still continues. Her goal is to write and release her very first poetry book and begin reciting her poems all over. When Aliyah is not working, tending to her son or writing she is working on her upcoming non profit organization called P.B.I.A. Which stands for "Pretty Because I Am" founded by her. Along with her board members she hopes to empower young girls and women to embrace their own beauty and individuality.

Aliyah's motto has always been "If your heart isn't in it you aren't meant to be there."
