Rebecca Barnes

I come from a different country,
I speak a different language,
and they will always say you're different in a way...
From the tender age of eight, Rebecca was already expressing herself in poetry; scribbling on little bits of paper which grew into pages and compiled into books filled with thoughts and feelings and stories... unsure where these would land or in whose ear they would whisper, little knowing that one day they would find their way coupled with a melody, together with harmony and a voice that would sing them out to the world. Her voice, one she would find in many years to come...
Born in the Philippines, raised as a child on a fish farm in Israel and then moved at the age of eight to England, gave Rebecca material for a life time of colourful prose. Yet it did not stop here, the journey took her onwards, returning at 18 to the promised land to see what she had lost. This adventure thrust Rebecca into a labryinth of secret delvings, which only the voice of lonliness could touch and release... Deeper she sunk, untill 10 years later, in 2009, following a coincidental meeting with a soulmate, they collaborated to sing her songs....
