The Fruit Of The Nuts

In Church it is often fruit that is desired. Nuts are frowned upon. I have been frowned upon because people say I am 'nuts'. I have 2 mental health disabilities. However, it is very often those labelled as 'nuts' (not as in religious fanatics) that produce good fruit.
My aim is to discuss issues that trouble, encourage, challenge and uplift us.
A mother of one, in a mixed orientation marriage. I came to a living faith in Christ when I was 30 years old.
Pleasures of life include blogging, mixed media art, writing, contemplative spirituality, filter coffee, Ceylon and activism.
I appreciate progressive thought within religion/spirituality. The margins call to me alongside worship in alternative settings. Boxes simply do not exist, and labels are for jars.
Happy am I to be a friend of the Northumbria Community, a member of the Green Party and Mind.
I hold a BTEC HND in Technical Theatre Arts.
Currently studying:
- A Level in Religious Studies. Focusing on Christianity and Buddhism.
- ABC certificate level 2 in Philosophy.
- ABC certificate level 3 Special Educational Needs.
- ABC certificate level 3 Childcare and Education.
Recently obtained Parents and Carers certificate in Makaton.
A passion I hold with others is for seeing God's people sharing the love of God with each other and the stranger equally and abundantly. A authentic, inclusive and varied community of believers who have servant hearts and love their neighbour is amongst my prayers.
