I am an anthropologist living in Quebec city, Canada. I specialize in native studies, cultural safety and the anthropology of health and wellbeing.

My fields of interest include health and healing, relations and reconciliation between indigenous and non-indigenous peoples, cultural revival movements, pop culture and geek culture.

In 2012, I founded The Geek Anthropologist, a community blog where geekiness, science-fiction, and all things geek are analysed through the perspective of sociocultural anthropology.

I pursue doctoral research on cultural safety indigenous healing, health and well-being.
