Ginger Martini stands out in the film and television worlds for her exceptional work in costume design. Most recently, she has been celebrated for her significant contributions to projects Netflix’s In The Tall Grass starring Patrick Wilson, IFC’s Backcountry starring Missy Peregym, and Breaking Glass Pictures’ Fall starring Michael Murphy, which premiered at the Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF).
Ginger’s work has been frequently recognized by her peers, including a CAFTCAD Award for Best Indie Costume Design for the period film Rosie, starring Keris Hill, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. Her diverse range in the industry is further highlighted by her CAFTCAD Award nomination for in the Contemporary Costume Design category for Trigger Point starring Barry Pepper, as well as a CAFTCAD award for Period Costume Design for Brotherhood starring Jake Manley and Brendan Fletcher.
Ginger’s career in television series is just as rich, with credits including the premiere season of Hulu & Crave TV’s Cardinal and the second season of the Hulu Original Holly Hobbie. Her collaboration with Vera Bradley for Holly Hobbie led to the creation of a custom backpack featured in the show, which was later sold as part of Vera Bradley’s collection, showcasing her impact on popular culture beyond the screen.
Most recently, Ginger has brought her costume designing skills to the third season of the acclaimed series Hulu & Crave TV’s Shoresy and in many seasons of Hulu & Crave TV’s Letterkenny, including its recent 12th and final season. Ginger’s talents were also showcased in the groundbreaking virtual reality project Last We Left Off. This Dungeons and Dragons-themed VR movie made waves at SXSW, winning the Audience Choice Award and highlighting Martini's versatility and creativity in the burgeoning field of immersive media. She resides in Toronto, Canada and works on projects globally.
