Gabrielle M. Smith was born in Detroit, Michigan to the proud parents of Willie and Robin Smith. She is the youngest of four siblings has always been considered the glue that molded this extended family. As a child, she was constantly active, even in the womb. Her mother realized that that activeness needed to be channeled into some positive energy. So, as punishment for cutting up in school, her mother
enrolled her in a dance program. It was from that discovery that she pursued as
a passion that would be the mainstay of her life. She attended the
Detroit-Windsor Dance Academy (DWDA) to gain her foundation and preparation for
one of her most significant accomplishments, getting accepted to the Detroit
High School for the Arts (DSA).

facilities that has helped mode her into the person that she is today. She
currently instructs younger students at Detroit-Windsor Dance Academy (DWDA)
