The Grammar Clinic is the brainchild of Eugene and Shiva, who are both A level graduates from Serangoon Junior College. The roots of the clinic lie in an observation made by the duo throughout their course of study, which was the visible lack of appreciation for the nuances of grammar amongst the people around them. This proved to be an alarming cause for concern and ultimately spurred them on to conceive an idea, which was to educate Singaporean youth on the importance of good grammar. Together, Eugene and Shiva hope to inculcate a love for the English Language amongst teenagers, so as to empower them with excellent writing skills and enable them to be confident speakers, who will carry their knowledge well into the future.
On the 17th of Jan 2015, we will be conducting the first session of our grammar clinic for secondary school students to spread the awareness of good grammar. The session shows the 3 common reasons why your child does badly for english. It also addresses how to tackle these 3 reasons.
