For more than 20 years we've been compiling the UK's most comprehensive and in-depth directory of eco, ethical & sustainable goods, services, projects & organisations.

Our database contains around 19,500 entries and over 3,500 of these are online, with more added weekly.

The Green Guide is much more than a consumer or business directory. We have collected an ever-widening range of listings covering the whole gamut of green and sustainable living and thinking. You'll find entries for academic research, product development, consultants, politics and campaigning as well as a huge range of shopping and purchasing choices, including how to spend your leisure time and where to go on holiday.

Our aim is to create a rich and immersive experience when using the Green Guide, showing readers just how far green thinking and sustainable choices have developed, and revealing the real depth of choice available.

The Green Guide doesn’t preach, but it does show that there is a way forward to one-planet, sustainable living, a means to combat climate change and a way to protect the world’s scarce resources.

We've published 23 books, and we're currently working on a brand new edition of our flagship directory, the Green Guide for London. The new book, at nearly 800 pages in full colour, will be published in Autumn 2017.
