Heavily involved in volleyball as a player, teacher, coach, referee, ref trainer, ref judge. Began playing on the beach in So. California in the '50's.(Egads!!) Member of VB Collegiate Referee's Hall of Fame. Pioneer of USA Women's Volleyball. Performed and taught Greek and Balkan Folk Dancing while in college. Traveled to Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and photo safari to Tanzania. Took train from Vancouver to Calgary. Canadian Rockies are SPECTACULAR. Traveled to Finland and Norway in February 2013 to see the Aurora Borealis. Went to Russia and Belarus as part of a Women in Sports Delegation for People to People International. Camped in Europe in a VW van for 10 weeks with one of my brothers. Drove from Scotland to Greece and saw 13 countries. Have been to each of the 48 contiguous states. I am trying to get my Black Sash in Tai Chi, which I have been studying for almost four years. I have 8 of our 10 sashes. Currently on hiatus with some injuries - not from Tai Chi, just old age:(
