I created The Happy Mormon page to engage readers in conversations about happiness, or lack of happiness, and everywhere in-between. I'm not a licensed family therapist, nor do I have a PhD. What I do bring to the table is a passion to see others be happy. Whether that is observing, participating in or contributing to that happiness, I will most likely be found with a smile on my face. So what makes me an "expert" in happiness? I'm not, nor will I ever claim to be. Anything I have accomplished or been able to achieve is not through my own capabilities, but through the grace and blessings from the Lord.

In Debember 2011 I had 3 mini strokes and had the clot not broken up into 3 smaller pieces, it could have easily turned me into a vegetable or killed me. I had a very powerful spiritual experience and was told to "Go live my life and BE HAPPY. This message is not just for you"
