Maddie Harris

Currently I am a senior at Tom C. Clark high school in San Antonio, Texas where I have lived my entire life. Though I was born in San Antonio, I have practically been raised in dance studios. Yes, I am one of the few girls who, after being forced to take dance classes by their mother who just wanted to see their little girl in a tutu, actually continued taking classes. As a child, after passing the phase of pretending to be sick every time I had dance class, I eventually grew to love this art and have currently been practicing this passion of mine for 15 years now. My love for dance has led me towards my high school dance team which I am proudly captain of. Eventually, after college, I hope to make a career out of this hobby of mine as a dance director at a local high school, so I can help other individuals my age experience the greatness that this art has to offer.
