๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿฝโ€๐Ÿซ๐Ÿ“šBy day, I am a heart-led high school educator teaching AP African American Studies and World History. My classroom, empowers students to grow in literacy, empathy, and agency. ๐ŸŒฑ

My mission is to cultivate a space for curious learners and to challenge them to become critical thinkers, compassionate feelers, and courageous actors. ๐Ÿง โ™ฅ๏ธโœ๐Ÿพ

๐Ÿ“œAs a trained historian with a focus on historical trauma, I believe sharing our stories in truth has the power to heal our wounds and reconcile our relationships.

My passions include finding hope in Christ, teaching and learning, and healing generational trauma through family history research and facilitation of healing circles. ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธโœ๏ธโค๏ธโ€๐Ÿฉน

โฐ In my spare time, I enjoy soul music, spicy food, and sweet wine.
