Hi there! Thank you for visiting my blog. I am currently a student at the University of Connecticut in the Allied Heath program and will be applying for the Coordinated Dietetics program in the Spring of 2016! I am obsessed with food, nutrition, and the study of food in foreign cultures. It is a dream of mine to travel the world, experiencing each type of cuisine, and studying how that cuisine lifestyle affects the health of its host country. This blog is mainly focused on how to live a more holistic life through many facets, but mainly involving food and your health.

In my spare time I love to horse back ride. I am in love with horses and have been since I started riding at the age of 5. I love the western culture of the US and hope to someday live in Wyoming on my own small ranch/farm. I want to live a self sustaining life by growing my own food, herbs, and livestock.

I also love to cook. I love to cook anything but really enjoy Thai, Italian, and Mediterranean style cuisine. I attended Baking and Pastry Arts school at Johnson and Wales University for two years, and received my Associates degree there. Although I realized I did not want to be a professional baker or cook for the rest of my life, I believe it will always be one of my life long hobbies. And I will make some handsome man a very happy one, one day!

I am from a small town in New England, and have always been a bit naive to the outside world. The little bit of traveling I have done, and the education I have received thus far throughout college has really opened my eyes to a brand new world and meaning to my life. It is amazing what education can do for you. I find it very important to pursue the type of education that holds your true passions, and take time to do that everyday.

Through this blog I plan to further my knowledge in many areas involving food, nutrition, and overall health.In turn I hope to help other people understand this knowledge in a simple fun way!
