Meraas'

The House Of Meraas, that began as a personal endeavor and a non-profit organization was a one-women force initially. it aimed at empowering the downtrodden & oppressed women subjugated by the psychological, emotional, financial and moral pressures of the society. It eventually expanded and started working on creating awareness about the importance of education. It helps street children build and fulfill their dreams. it encourages the women to aspire and chase after success. However it is more than a mere organization. At Meraas we project and promote art, communication, harmony, love, tolerance and community support system. Meraas has also worked twice with AFIT (Armed Forces Institute of Blood transfusion) for various campaigns including WTD & O-Zarb-e-Azab BackLash.

We operate from the capital city of Islamabad and by far we have succedeed in fully supporting 8 street-children for their education along with helping 11 women become fully self-reliant in financial terms by providing them trainings and professional aid.
