I began my career in the early 1980s, right after graduating with a degree in Business Administration. I quickly realised that my passion lay in human resources, as I found immense satisfaction in connecting people with opportunities and nurturing their growth.

With a strong foundation in HR principles and practices, I embarked on my journey by working for various multinational corporations. Over the years, I gained invaluable experience in talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and compensation and benefits. I also developed a keen interest in promoting diversity and inclusion within the workplace, which became a core focus throughout my career.

As my reputation grew, I transitioned into consulting roles, helping businesses revamp their HR strategies and adapt to changing industry landscapes. My knack for identifying organisational gaps and offering customised solutions soon made me a sought-after HR consultant.

In addition to consulting, I held leadership roles in prominent organisations, overseeing HR departments and shaping their strategies. I created employee-centric policies, fostered a positive work culture, and led talent development initiatives.

After nearly four decades in HR, I decided it was time for a change. I left my corporate job to pursue my passion for sharing knowledge and empowering others. Thus, The HR Guy was born as a platform where I could share my expertise, insights, and experiences with a broader audience.

My blog aims to inspire HR professionals, business leaders, and job seekers alike. I cover many topics, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, leadership development, and workplace culture.

I also share real-life stories and case studies, offering practical advice and strategies to implement in any organisation. I aim to create a community where like-minded individuals can learn, engage, and grow together in their HR journey.
