My name is Jeff, and I've been teaching for 15 years in an inner city school in Toronto, Ontario. I teach Communications Technology, specializing in Television Video Production. Before I was a teacher I worked in the tv/video world filming skydiving and air to air photography.

I currently run a Sports and Media SHSM with another teacher at our school, and have had good successes reaching our kids through the SHSM. I also teach an International Baccalaureate course called Information Technology in a Global Society (ITGS) which I started teaching last year and am very excited about, although it’s a big workload!

I am pursuing the Junior ABQ to further understand the role of the junior teacher and to prepare for the PQP courses. Although I am not that interested in leaving the classroom right away, it would be nice to have some strategies and tools to help, both in and out of the classroom role.

In my spare time my family and I spend most of our free time restoring our 1885 century home in order to bring it back to its original glory!
