J. M. Davis

J. M. Davis is a YA fiction writer specializing in romantic comedies, drama and action adventure. An active Christian in her community, she volunteers as a youth leader in her local church, where she writes faith based plays for the children's ministry. Working with children opened up a new path of creativity for J. M., which led her to explore other opportunities in her community. Her career evolved and she took the challenge of becoming a drama instructor at a charter elementary school. With a passion for creating stories for children and teens, she decided she needed to hone her writing skills and branch into other storytelling mediums. That decision led her to attend Full Sail University, where she earned a BFA in Creative Writing For Entertainment in 2015.J. M.'s early career as a playwright has set the stage for her talent as a creator of screenplays for film and television. Her work is character driven and features the self-discovery of teens.J. M. is currently working on a comedy spec script, title Election Day, about a high school student working as an election poll clerk who encounters a strange group of individuals throughout the fourteen-hour workday. In addition, she has in development Escape, an action adventure novel about four teenagers who are framed for armed robbery and sentenced to a juvenile center.
