Jose Martinez

My name is Jose, I'm 17, I'm a senior at a high school and I am also from San Antonio. I work at Whataburger and Fort Sam Military Base as a dishwasher. My main passion is Law Enforcement. Since I was 10 my dad and I use to watch cops together. I immediately fell in love with the concept of law enforcement and enforcing the law ever though I break the law sometimes. Since my dad showed me cops I would go to the library to check out books about the law or anything dealing with the law. My first week of my high school year my teacher in law enforcement thought it would’ve been a great idea to bring a presenter for us to hear about what it means to be a cop and how it is working on the job. However, he went into a different subject about the military then, he said that you can be a police officer in the military instead of being one in a police department. When he told us, I separated from going to the police department and going into the military as a police finally, that's when I started to research what I had to do to be able to be one and what tests I had to take. When I'm not in school or researching about the military , I love to listen to music, go mountain biking, play video games, I also work a lot and I exercise when I have time which is almost never.
