Who We Are
What is The Journey?

The Journey is an evangelical, disciple-making ministry at Georgia Gwinnett College.

Our vision is to see the next generation live like Jesus, love like Jesus, and make disciples like Jesus. We're doing this by leading young adults from where they are to where God wants them to be, teaching and training a strategy we call "Intentional Discipleship", in fun, safe environments that honor both grace, and truth.

Some of us are new and just beginning the journey; some of us have been on the path for a good long time and most of us are somewhere along the way.

What We Believe:

We believe in God, and God believes in you.

We believe Jesus was intentional about discipleship, and that we should be too. For three years Jesus invested himself in the lives of twelve others who would eventually take up the work he had begun. He gave them a call (live like me), a command (love as I have loved), and a commission (make disciples in my name).

We believe that life is something to be cherished; we believe it is a gift from God. It promises to be abundant when growing in the grace & knowledge of Jesus' love for us.

We boldly proclaim that God came to earth 2000 years ago in Jesus Christ. In Him - His words, His acts of kindness, His death on the cross, and His being raised from the dead - we find that abundant life. While the world is constantly changing, these things of long ago are still our truth today.
