December 2022 my Feature Film “The Homecoming” is a Quarter Finalist in the “Your Script Produced!” contest.

My short script “The Monkey” was selected as the Winner in the October Movie Play International Film Festival.

My advert concept was chosen as RUNNER UP in the OPEN SCREENPLAY “Write for Humaniti” competition.

October 2022 my script was chosen as a finalist in the 4Theatre short script competition.

September my script was selected as a SEMI FINALIST in the Waterford International Film Festival's short script competition.

In January 2022 I won the Open Screenplay Follow the Dragon - Pan-Asian Food Adventures at Home Story Concept Contest!

My feature film script "The Homecoming" was a semi finalist of the Screen Goldmine Awards.

The Homecoming received an HONOURABLE MENTION in the Final Cut Script Competition.

I am the author of the "The Little Book of Sham".

In March 2021 my short story "The Toy" was chosen for publication and was praised in the Irish Independent for its humour and pathos.

I've won writing competitions with my short film scripts, one of which was chosen by Steven E DeSouza (writer Die Hard) was produced for his web series "Unknown Sender".

2012 Winner Amateur Short Film, Westport Chamber of Commerce, I shot, directed and edited.

In January I finished a 3 week feature film shoot here in Mayo as a supporting actor.

I've enjoyed writing residencies at both the Tyrone Guthrie Centre and the Heinrich Boll Cottage on Achill island.

I work as a Librarian and served as a Town Councillor for 10 years up until May 2014.

I was a co-founder of Westport Radio, WRFM 98.2fm.

I trained as a journalist and worked freelance in Mayo.

I am working on a number of film scripts and a comedy show pilot.

In 1999 I played a Canadian policeman in Roger Coreman's "Stray Bullet!" which was filmed in Galway. I got to fire a gun and injure my knees for £20 a day for two days.

More recently I played Builder No 1 in Series 3 of "The Hardy Bucks". It was great fun. And it paid better than "Stray Bullet".

Dec 2020 I portrayed "Barna Man" in the crime reconstruction show, "The Case I can't forget!"

In 2021 I portrayed a wedding guest who danced like Donald Trump in the feature film “My Sailor, my love”.
