The Key Box Studio

The KeyBox Studio is a professional music school in Gilbert, AZ that provides music lessons, piano lessons, guitar lessons, ukulele lessons, voice lessons, and singing lessons. Students from toddler to adult attend the KeyBox Studio for one to one private instructions or group instructions. Students also benefit from the KeyBox Studio's Summer Camp Music Programs and Preschool Programs. Co-Owners Tiffani Smith and Nicklas Carmody, both experienced teachers in the Phoenix Valley, came together to create KeyBox Studio in the Summer of 2017. Wanting to increase the number of individuals they could bring the joy of music to, and to continue a legacy of leading, they created a studio which could accommodate multiple teachers and hundreds of students.

KeyBox Studio teaches our students musical skills in a variety of ways. Students are taught piano lessons in a social environment with 2-4 of their peers. Our piano lessons are 60 minutes so that students have ample time to participate in instruction, learning games, and individual learning with the teacher. Our guitar lessons are a full 60 minutes where students will learn how to play as a group, as well as on their own while building foundations in chording, melody and accompaniment. For students interested in voice lessons, they will receive professional vocal instructions while learning important techniques such as breathing, vowel placement, vocal dynamics, blending with other singers, and singing harmony. In addition to our music lessons, KeyBox Studio offers a variety of music oriented Summer Camps and Little Keys Preschool Program (year round) for students ages 3-5.

The KeyBox Studio's teachers have a combined teaching experience of over 30 years. At KeyBox Studio, we recognize the benefits of learning an instrument go far beyond just the notes they will play. Our teachers are focused on: building confidence and self-esteem, helping students overcome performance anxiety, helping students overcome perfectionism, and teaching perseverance and hard work.
