​Welcome to The Laundry Foundry, Waterloo's new industrial-modern launderette. We are a locally-owned business founded on a simple idea: laundry day shouldn't be a chore you dread. It should be fast, efficient, and even a little enjoyable.

​As residents of the area, we saw a need in our community for a premium, clean, and safe laundromat. We were tired of old, slow machines, coin-only operations, and dimly-lit spaces. We knew we could do better, so we created The Laundry Foundry.

​Our mission is to give you back your time. We are not just another coin laundry; we are a modern, self-service laundry experience. We've invested in the world's most advanced, high-efficiency machines that can wash a full load in just 25 minutes. You can be in and out, with your entire week's laundry washed and dried, in about 60 minutes.

​Opening in January 2026, we are proud to serve our neighbours in Waterloo, Zetland, Redfern, Surry Hills, and Alexandria.

​Our specialties are speed, size, and service. We offer state-of-the-art express machines and high-efficiency dryers. We are also the ultimate solution for large families and bulky items. Our range of machine sizes, from standard 9kg washers up to giant 27kg commercial machines, are perfect for washing all the items that won't fit at home, including king-size doonas, comforters, blankets, and pillows.

​We've built our laundromat for modern convenience. Our entire facility is equipped with payment systems that accept Tap & Go, all major Credit Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and coins. While you wait in our comfortable space, enjoy Free WiFi, use our dedicated Charging Stations, and feel secure with 24/7 CCTV monitoring.
