Laura Avila Barraza

Laura Avila Barraza is a machinist at Bischoff Aerospace Inc in Hialeah, Florida from 2010. She is responsible to operate the machine tools such as milling machines, lathes, and grinders for producing the precision metal parts. She produces very large quantities or small batches of metal parts and ensures that all the products are meeting customer’s precise specifications. She measures, examines, and tests the completed units of metals in order to detect defects and ensures conformance to specifications, using precision instruments. Laura sets up and operates all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations. She also maintains the industrial machines, applies knowledge of mechanics, metal properties and machining procedures to produce desired result.
