My name is Laura Eckroat and I'm a children's book author -- The Life of Bud won Best Children's Book at the North Texas Book Festival in 2010 and was featured in Dallas Child Magazine in September, 2010. My second book -- A Simpler Time was endorsed by Ted Kerasote award winning author of Merle's Door and PUKKA. My third book -- Went Out To Get a Donut ... Came Home With a Muffin is in publication.
