The Linen Shop

At The Linen Shop we offer some of the finest, most beautifully made fabric Sussex has to offer. Designed by Fran White, the linen shop in Nuthurst and our online store provide a range of exquisitely crafted designs, all made using a range of natural colours, weights and textures. You can buy fabric for your own use or also choose from a range of products including scarves, towels, aprons and napkins.

On our website you can view Fran's designer linens in the Fabric Collections section as well as finding out more about the services we provide, such as made-to-measure curtains and furnishings. We can also provide you with free swatches, so you can see and feel the fabric before you purchase anything.

All our textiles are produced ethically, woven in Belgium or Scotland and we also offer a bespoke design service, specialising in making curtains, cushions, blinds and other soft furnishings that are simple and stylish.

The Linen Shop is in a tranquil setting. Far from any busy high streets or shopping centres, it is situated in a 19th century barn beside a lake surrounded by peaceful West Sussex Countryside – the perfect place to showcase our soft, handmade artisan fabric. If transport is a problem, worry not. We can arrange our mail order service online or over the phone for those who can't get to us or who live further afield.

As well as linen for curtains, fabrics and soft furnishings, we have a selection of linen clothing. All handmade in England, our range includes kimono robes, scarves and loose jackets. There are also linen accessories and gift ideas including aprons and sew-yourself fabric kits for you to browse.
