The Little City Volunteers

The Little City Volunteers began to organize formally in September of 2011 to attract people who wanted to give back to their community. The scope of volunteer service activities varies and there is something that should interest everyone to participate at one time or another here in the City of Falls Church.

Currently a service day is being planned for Saturday, April 14th, as part of the City clean-up our volunteers will be working at Frady Park on Broad Street between N. Fairfax and N. Cherry Sts. Lots going on - raking, planting, and readying Frady Park for our 120th Arbor Day Celebration here in the City of Falls Church - where the first Arbor Day in Virginia was celebrated in 1892.

We also have a collection effort where we will be accepting donations for and FOOD FOR OTHERS at Frady Park on April 14th. Donations will be gathered at Frady Park and delivered to Food For Others. We are creating our website with lots of volunteer opportunities! The site will also carry photos and feedback that will be posted on each activity when possible. We hope you will become involved in learning more about your City, our non-profit groups and the folks who live and work here and help us in our City Volunteer Park -- Frady Park.
