Thelma Letsie
Student and Teacher in Johannesburg
Hey there, Welcome to my blog!
My name is Thelma Letsie, and I am a third-year Bachelor of Education student at the University of Johannesburg, majoring in Geography and Information Communication Technology (ICT). I am passionate about using technology to enhance teaching and learning, making lessons more interactive, accessible, and relevant to the needs of 21st-century learners.
Beyond my academic pursuits, I am actively involved in tutoring and mentoring, helping learners develop both their subject knowledge and study skills. I enjoy exploring innovative educational tools and integrating ICT into classroom activities to engage learners effectively.
In my free time, I am interested in digital learning platforms, and curriculum development. I also enjoy participating in community outreach programs, volunteering, and organizing workshops that support youth learning and development. Additionally, I have a keen interest in reading, creative writing, and exploring geospatial technologies to better understand the world around us.
