Larry Bullington
A graduate from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Mr. Bullington holds a master’s degree in secondary education in addition to a bachelor’s degree in ministry from Bethany Bible College and Theological Seminary. Mr. Bullington is a Vietnam era veteran and an ordained minister with the Southern Baptist Association. After traveling throughout Europe and North America, Mr. Bullington has gained an appreciation for a variety of artistic styles. His creation of “The Master’s Studio” in 2007, allowed him the freedom to create works of art in his home studio, as well as providing the space for classroom instruction. Mr. Bullington’s large wall mural work can be seen throughout the city of Chattanooga where he is a member of both Allied Arts and the Association for Visual Artists. Currently a middle school art teacher, he frequently teaches both children and adults. Heavily influenced by the techniques of Vincent Van Gough and Jackson Pollack as well as abstractionists, Mr. Bullington produces his own style of original works. Written and performed by Mr. Bullington, Dydimus Followed has Doubting Thomas as the subject of a one man show that incorporates work on a large oil painting during the play. With his wife, Judy, Mr. Bullington worked with homeless people for many years in Indianapolis and Chattanooga, resulting in one of his most prized possessions: an award citing him “A Friend to the Friendless.” Larry and Judy Bullington currently live in Red Bank, Tennessee.
