The Mindful Dog

The Mindful Dog (Owned and operated by Ross & Kelly Levy) began as Kelly’s Pet Care in 1999. In Spring of 2012 the company moved from a local dog park to a Private location. We are now a Monday-Friday dog day care company located in Van Nuys California. Our facility consists of over 4600 sq. feet of enclosed, private outdoor canine day care heaven! The main play area features a plush artificial lawn made by the same company who supplies NFL stadiums. The lawn is dirt/mud free with plenty of space for dogs to play and socialize. There are plenty of shaded areas to keep dogs cool, and large fans are set up during the warmer months. Prices begin at $37 a day for 1-4 days per week, and $32 for those that go 5 days a week. Pick-up and drop-off services are included in the price. Dog travel to and from our facility in custom designed Vans featuring safe, rubberized flooring and a separate A/C unit installed specifically with dogs comfort in mind. If you have two or more dogs please contact us for further pricing. At this time clients are not able to drop-off or pick-up their dogs themselves at the facility.
