Abigail Ekue

I am an author & writer, photographer and NY excursionist.

My erotic short story collection, The Darker Side of Lust, is currently in its second edition. I am also included in the Cleis Press Anthology, Best Women's Erotica of the Year, Volume 2.

My portfolio also includes health, fitness and nutrition articles, personal essays, insights on sex, dating, relationships, body image and feminism, social commentary, reports and event recaps. I've also been a guest on various radio programs and podcasts and shared my erotica at literary events.

I specialize in portrait, editorial, art, nude and erotic photography. I shoot for private clients and also publications. My photography has been featured in PAPER, Time Out New York, Refinery 29, WideWalls (CH), Succulent Sex Craft, Erotic Review (UK), L'Oeil de la Photographie (FR), Flavorwire, The Huffington Post and The Naked and the Lens. Bare Men: A Male Nude Photo Series by Abigail Ekue Photography was released in September 2016. Along with solo exhibits, I've had work at The Museum of the City of New York.

As a Native New Yorker, I lead travelers on curated private excursions through my company, Native Creative Concierge. Each excursion is catered to my clients' interests and focused on off-the-beaten path attractions or exclusive events.

I am also the creator of Don't Pet The Fro™, the warning sign tee for the natural hair community which got its humble beginning as a post on Tumblr.
