Hi there! My name is Theo, Jaubert and I am born and bred scuba diva trainer with over ten years experience in the stunning and amazing underwater world of Khao Lak as well as Similan Islands in Thailand. My journey into the depths of the ocean has been an enchanting one; now it is my turn to share my voyage, enlightened perception and experience with you.

My Diving Journey

Ever since I can remember, I wanted to be close with the ocean and since I grew up, I wanted to make a living from it. For the many years I was lucky to participate in diving in some incredible and different parts of the underwater world. The options of where, what, and when to dive makes each dive as a new exciting story to discover. As a PADI instructor status, I have trained and led numerous divers, taken them through the beauty of the world that is underwater and guarantee their safety as well as the amount of fun that they are going to have.

Teaching Philosophy

Three major values of mine as a teacher are safety, patience, and students’ respect towards ocean and its living beings. Whether you are a first time diver who decides to go for it or you are an experienced diver who wants to take it a notch higher, I ensure that I train depending on what a certain diver wants.

Beyond the Dive

Always a pleasure to capture the wonders of the marine, world and to do it this way is through my glasses and my writings. The articles and photos I post are majorly aimed at the reader and the audience to create this desire or need to conserve oceans. Starting from the beauty of marine animals to the beauty of under water view, I try to look for good stories that will be of essence to divers as well as those who have no such interest.

I work at Khao Lak Explorer, and I am in the fortunate position of being supported by a team that does actually care about the experience guests have in scuba diving. About diving, we have many courses and different kind of liveaboard for divers who has different experience. The idea here is to assist you to fulfil your SCUBA dream to dive over the Similan Islands, Richelieu rock and more.
